Blobs

A Blob stores arbitrary binary data with searchable properties, such as an audio file or document. A binary response buffer is also called a blob; it is not necessarily a stored Blob object.

Common workflow

AddBlob stores binary data and its properties. FindBlob selects objects by metadata and returns the requested properties, binary data, or both. Updates and deletions apply to the objects selected by their filters.

Examples. Each example includes its input and permission requirements.

Commands

See system-defined properties for object identifiers and built-in metadata, transactions and references for command chaining, and reading results for property selection and binary output.
